Oakland, California

The Permanente Medical Group, Inc. (TPMG) is seeking a Neurologist who has completed an Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring (IONM) fellowship and to join their world renowned Pediatric Neurosurgery and Spine services at Kaiser Oakland Medical Center. The successful candidate will be leading the IONM service in Oakland and be working with three other IONM Neurologists (based at other medical centers) as well as a team of IONM trained neurophysiologists that are based in Oakland.

Adult Neurologist-Academic Appointment-Texas

Adult Neurologist position with academic group practice in Texas. Recent retirement has created a position in our established faculty practice. The position offers inpatient and outpatient adult neurology to include consultations and stroke evaluations. Patient services includes diagnostic EEG/EMGs. Faculty members contribute to resident training program through their teaching, research and clinical care.

Responsibilities include supervision of resident clinics and training through lectures and presentations. An interest in program development is encouraged.

We are seeking a board eligible/board certified neurologist with a strong commitment and interest in academic medicine. Our faculty position offers leadership potential for neurologists with Epilepsy, Sleep or Stroke interest. Successful candidates will have the ability to obtain a Texas license. English/Spanish skills a plus.

The candidate will be expected to fulfill their duties in a manner consistent with generally accepted standards of prevailing medical practice. Duties will include teaching medical students, residents and/or fellows, clinical service and other duties. It’s anticipated that approximately 90% of assigned time will be dedicated to clinical service. 10% of your time will be devoted to educating students, residents and fellows and developing independent research activities.
